

Different People- Different Variations
When you think of programming for a normal person that is just trying to get healthier, feel better, move better and all that jazz- one probably thinks they need to most likely do a full body workout. When it comes to programming in very basic means that means, squatting, hinging, pulling, pushing and carrying/rotation. However, why one person may squat one way or press one way comes down to the individual along with preference as there are so many reasons to do an exercise.
Lets use the squat for example... For a brand new person to exercise, they may use a bodyweight squat or an assisted squat, say someone is a bit stronger and has good control they may do a goblet squat holding a weight at their chest, however some feel some tightness in low back so they may hold it low, or some may elevate their heels if they have tight ankles, or another may hold in zercher position if a wrist issue. In our every day lives, we squat or sit and stand probably hundreds of times each day. Strengthening the movement pattern in a way that you can build up the movement pattern is great for you. It may not look the same way as the person next to you, but that is okay! Everyone is different, let your body get stronger in a way thats effecient for you.
